Wedding at The Gulfarium | Brittany & Christian
Brittany & Christian are a Texas-based couple who share a love of music, video games, art, and animals. After visiting the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach on vacation, they fell in love with the venue and chose it as their wedding location. Their love of animals inspired their theme, and they even had a special guest join their celebration.
The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park offers visitors a fun and educational experience focused on marine life and the local ecosystem. Founded in 1955, the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach is a popular attraction that has live animal shows and feedings. They are committed to animal welfare and contribute to wildlife and animal conservation.
The First Look on Fort Walton Beach
After capturing their getting ready moments, we met Brittney & Christian on Fort Walton Beach. The extensive beachfront was the perfect environment for their romantic first look. They enjoyed a private moment, embracing and dancing on the beach.
The Ceremony at Gulfarium
Their ceremony at Gulfarium Fort Walton Beach embraced their marine theme. The bridal party wore blue dresses while the groomsmen sported blue ties. Although the focus of any wedding ceremony is the bride and groom, Brittany & Christian’s ring bearer stole the show. Accompanied by a Gulfarium employee, an African black footed penguin brought the couple their rings and waited intently through their sentimental vows. He was born dressed for the occassion!
The newlyweds poured white and blue sand into a heart-shaped glass, representing their equal contribution to a loving, lasting marriage. They made their exit to live music and returned to the waterfront. The walkway along Fort Walton Beach made the perfect location for portraits of the couple. Brittany & Christian’s penguin friend even stopped by to give his congratulations.
The Reception
We joined the wedding guests back in Gulfarium for the reception, celebrating among the marine life. Gulfarium at Fort Walton Beach offered an unforgettable wedding experience that I enjoyed capturing alongside Golden View.
